Epicurean Indy International Food Festival will return Oct. 5, bringing a celebration of international cuisine and culture to Virginia Avenue in the Fountain Square and Fletcher Place districts.

The free, family-friendly festival will feature more than a dozen international restaurants, an artisan vendor market, and live music. Guests can enjoy a diverse selection of food, beverages and art inspired by global traditions. Chefs and artists will sell their food, drinks and artwork directly, keeping 100% of the profits, a model designed to support small businesses and strengthen Indianapolis’ local culinary scene.

“We are thrilled to bring back the Epicurean Indy International Food Festival for its second year as a marquee event that champions the incredible talent within our culinary community,” said Chef Youssef Boudarine, founder of Epicurean Indy and owner of J’adore Pastry. “Our mission is to amplify chefs whose flavors reflect global traditions and showcase the vibrant experiences they bring to Indiana. By creating this platform, we’re not only celebrating our city’s rich, multicultural food scene but also helping ensure these chefs thrive economically. We want every guest to leave with a deeper appreciation for the global flavors shaping Indianapolis’ culinary landscape.”

Inspired by open-air food festivals and international markets, Epicurean Indy offers attendees the chance to sample foods from a variety of cultures while connecting with the chefs and artisans who create them. Organizers say the festival aims to foster a welcoming, supportive environment where diverse culinary voices can share their stories and traditions.

In addition to the outdoor festival, a limited-seating private tasting dinner will take place at 6 p.m. on Oct. 3 at the InterContinental Indianapolis Hotel. The dinner will feature a curated menu from celebrated local chefs and is presented in collaboration with the James Beard Foundation.

Epicurean Indy, a nonprofit based in Indianapolis, works to highlight underrepresented voices in the food industry while expanding access to culinary education and community events.
