Located at 2356 N. Sherman Dr. People’s Choice is a place where you can get meals that reminds you of your childhood, that’s at reasonable prices, and most importantly-delicious.
Let’s begin at the beginning – breakfast. Whether you have a craving for morning time fare or are not an early riser, People’s Choice has breakfast all day. We’re not talking measly meals of two slices of bacon, eggs and toast. This restaurant serves serious meals.
Try their pork chops with eggs, potatoes and toast/biscuit ($8) or the chicken and waffle/two pancakes for ($7).
People’s Choice takes you back to your grandmother’s kitchen with their biscuits and gravy ($4.50). If your appetite is really big, try the Big Sandwich, which consists of fried potatoes, cheese and eggs on Texas Toast with your choice of ham, bacon or sausage ($4.50).
For those who don’t eat pork, turkey bacon or beef sausage is available.
Think their breakfast sounds delicious, wait till you try their lunch and dinner entrees. For their main dishes, take your pick from cube steak ($6), rib tips ($6.50), meat loaf ($5.50), baked chicken ($5.50), pigs feet or neck bones (both $5.50) or catfish ($7.50) among other great choices.
To go along with your meal staple, try their yams, greens, green beans, dressing, cabbage, brown beans, Cajun rice, potato salad or other great side dishes. Each side dish is $2.50.
People’s Choice also serves sub sandwiches (ham, meatball, Philly Cheesesteak, Philly chicken or chicken club) for $5 and items such as hamburgers ($4.50), grilled or fried chicken breast ($4.75), a Naptown Reuben ($4.75) or a turkey burger ($5.50).
