On Sunday, Jan. 2, New Life Worship Center recently hosted a grand opening service for its new Anderson campus, and it was indeed a grand and blessed affair.
Not only did the more than 1,500 to 2,000 people in attendance get a glimpse of the new church building, but also they got a glimpse of the majestic interior.
New Life Worship Center’s third location in nine years was completely immersed with enthusiasm, and saturated with the Holy Spirit during the grand opening service.
In keeping with their other two campuses, New Life purchased the facility invested plenty of time and resources – while also being good stewards of God’s money – to meet the deadline to get the facility open for this grand service.
The music for this service was provided by a mass choir from Indianapolis under the direction of Pastor Tommy Harris. There were some famed musicians also on hand led by Reginald Strong, a name that might be familiar to gospel music lovers of Rickie Dillard and New G.
As if that was not enough of a draw, New Life brought in Grammy and Stellar award winner Ms. Vickie Winans who gave her testimony and performed two dynamic selections.
Pastor John Ramsey, senior pastor of New Life, and eloquently brought the spoken word from John 9: 1-8 in his expository preaching style.
Ramsey is one of those ministers who can “make the word come alive.” Through the verses of the text, he gave Anderson a “glimpse of the church building, and the church inside”, and stated how New Life looks forward to truly benefiting Anderson.
They have a track record of meeting the needs of the people in which they serve; and true ministry is meeting needs.
One reason why New Life opened its third campus in Anderson is because it is an economically devastated city, and the church plans to forge relationships with the business community to help better the life of its members. New Life has been recognized as a truly innovative ministry, and we would truly encourage the un-churched and unsaved of Anderson to remember: If you want a new life, check out New Life Worship Center.
