The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis will open Day Camp registration on Feb. 22 for families with children ages 3-15. The Y offers a variety of camp options and has 25 convenient camp locations across the city. YMCA Camps will begin May 29 and run through
Aug. 8.
YMCA Camps are accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), which means they have met or exceeded the highest nationally recognized standards for health, safety, staff training and program quality. There are age appropriate camps available for each child and pool time is included with all camps. Some of the new camps being offered this summer include “Gadgets Galore”, “Rise of the Minions” and “In the Spotlight.” Families can choose half day, full day and overnight camp programs for their children.
Flat Rock River YMCA Camp is the Y’s overnight camp, located just 45 minutes southeast of Indianapolis on the beautiful 240 acre camp ground in St. Paul, Ind. Flat Rock is a great way to give your child their first experience of being away from home. All campers will enjoy great camping activities such as horseback riding, swimming, biking, canoeing, the zip line, archery and more!
Parents can register their children by stopping by any YMCA location, online at OurCauseIsYou.org or by calling (317) 266-9622. Financial assistance is available and CCDF vouchers are available at most locations.
