What: The Eco Chic Fashion Showcase featured at Green Fest Indy – 2010

BACKGROUND
Fresh Fettle LLC is a fashion show production and creative consulting company based in Indianapolis. We collaborate with organizations that seek fashion programs with the intention to inform and entertain their target market in order to drive revenue.
Green Fest Indy – 2010 is a three-day exposition that will enable citizens to engage with a variety of eco-friendly businesses and speakers under one roof. The event will take place from Friday, March 26th – Sunday, March 28th, 2010 at the Indiana State Fairgroundās Toyota Expo Hall.
Green Fest Indy’s philosophy is to “BEā¦a little greener every day”™. Their goal is for the community to generate enthusiasm and initiate practical environmentally friendly behaviors. Also, they will feature companies that provide green jobs. They hope to motivate the attendees to become directly involved with the āgreenā movement in Indiana.
With this purpose, Fresh Fettle, LLC was called upon to produce three “green” themed fashion shows on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
Our team will highlight the brightest upcoming Hoosier talent.
THE ECO CHIC FASHION SHOWCASE PRESENTATIONS
Time: 11:00am The Sustainable Student Stylist Competition
Presented by The Art Institute of Indianapolis & Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana
Seven fashion majors from the Art Institute have one day to style their model from a local Goodwill retail location.
The students must create the most fashion forward head-to-toe look without exceeding $25. Expert judges will determine the winner based on a variety of categories.
Goodwill Industries provides: 1st place winner, $500 Art Institute scholarship 2nd place winner, $250 Art Institute scholarship

1:00pm Liz Alig presents Spring 2010 The Village Collection
Hoosier designer, Elizabeth Roney of Liz Alig, utilizes recycled fabrics to produce contemporary dresses.
A sponsorship program allows Ms. Roney to travel to Honduras and teach women how to sew dresses for each
Liz Alig collection. This also provides a life skill to help them generate an income. Each dress is created ethically
and considered Fair Trade.

4:00pm Salon Orange Moon presents Be Beautiful, Be Green
Hip local salon showcases repurposed apparel designs, avant-garde hair, and cosmetics using Aveda products.
