Mayor Hogsett announced that Binford Redevelopment and Growth (BRAG) is Neighborhood of the Month for April.
BRAG was founded in 2005 by a group of local residents with a mission of commercial and residential enhancement for Binford Boulevard and the adjacent neighborhoods. The group has grown into a community organization that aims to address economic and quality-of-life issues facing nearby residents and their businesses.
The Neighborhood of the Month initiative highlights an Indianapolis community each month, working to engage local groups and promote projects by various city departments.
