Here’s the full line-up for Indy Dance Festival 2025

Indy Dance Festival 2025 is bringing all new classes, performances and more this summer. 

Indy Dance Council released the full performance and masterclass lineup for Indy Dance Festival 2025 earlier in June. The weekend-long festival, which aims to showcase the “art of movement,” takes place July 19-20 at Newfields and Butler University.

Indy Dance Festival 2025 highlights a variety of local and visiting performers and educators to showcase the diverse talent within and around the city, positioning Indianapolis as an “artistic hub for dance professionals and organizations” from around the U.S., according to a press release. 

This year, the festival is dividing the offerings between performances on the Tobias Theatre stage at Newfields, 4000 N. Michigan Road, and supplemental masterclasses at Butler University’s Lilly Hall, 4600 Sunset Ave., for the community to “learn, grow, connect and be inspired together through dance,” according to a press release.

Performances at the Tobias Theatre begin at 7 p.m. on July 19 and 6 p.m. on July 20 and include:

  • Pulse Dance Theater
  • Kaleb Whitlow
  • Seda Negra/Black Silk Dance Company
  • Maggie Liang & Yinqi Wang (visiting performers)
  • The Garden
  • BOLD (Benefits of Learning Dance)
  • Crossroads Dance Indy
  • Baba Stafford & Company
  • Dance Kaleidoscope
  •  NZ TapZ (opener)
  • Indianapolis Ballet
  • Kenyettá Dance Company
  • Laya Bharatanatyam
  • WWR Creations
  • 31SVN Crew
  • Kent De Spain & Leslie Dworkin (visiting performers)

The masterclasses and workshops at Butler University’s Lilly Hall are open to dancers of all ages and skill levels. There will also be a variety of free community classes and panel discussions available to attend. Masterclasses are $25 each or $60 for a day pass, which includes three classes for 20% off.

Tickets for Indy Dance Festival 2025 are $30. Early bird tickets are on sale now through July 15 for $25. Tickets are available Indy Dance Council is also offering BOGO tickets for $50 where guests can make a tax-deductible donation of a community ticket to help “spread the magic of dance” to their neighbors.
