With Christmas just around the corner, the season of giving is in full swing. Although the holidays are often a time filled with family, friendship, gifts and happiness, the season can bring stress for many families in need. There are plenty of opportunities in Indianapolis to give back to help ease this stress and share some holiday cheer. The Recorder has compiled a list of a few places around Indianapolis to donate toys, clothes and more during this holiday season.

Damien Center: Damien Center is offering an option to sponsor an individual or family for holiday assistance. Damien Center will provide all sponsors who sign up with a wish list of items to purchase. Gifts can be dropped off unwrapped or wrapped at Damien Centerā€™s main office, located at 26 N. Arsenal Ave. For information or to sign up, email holiday assistance coordinator cbinion@damien.org.
