This year, the Chip Hoosier Memorial Foundation continues its mission of service by hosting its annual Thanksgiving turkey distribution. This community event is made possible through the generous support of Holy Angels, who provides the distribution space in their parking lot.

About the Foundation
The Chip Hoosier Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the legacy of Clarence “Chip” Hoosier, a beloved Indianapolis cab driver whose life was tragically taken in August 2006.
For 19 years, the Foundation has turned tragedy into hope. Through their signature annual bowling fundraiser held every August, they raise the vital funds necessary to support:
- Food Ministries: Ensuring local families have meals during the holidays and beyond.
- Youth Success: Providing bowling scholarships for students.
- Christmas Assistance: Supporting families in need across both Indianapolis and Cincinnati.
This turkey giveaway is more than just a donationāit is a reflection of a community coming together to remember “Chip” and ensure his spirit of kindness lives on.
