Indiana Grown’s second annual Indiana Grown Showcase highlighted over 75 local vendors, businesses and artisans to encourage food distributors and procurement specialists to support Indiana’s homegrown products.
Gov. Mike Braun attended the event and emphasized the importance of buying local.
“The Indiana Grown Showcase was a great opportunity for chefs and restaurants to learn more about the local food opportunities and to support these food entrepreneurs,” Braun said. “It was a pleasure to meet so many great Indiana Grown businesses, and as an entrepreneur myself, I especially enjoyed hearing their stories of triumph and success.”

Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith, also present, celebrated the dedication and passion of local businesses.
“Indiana Grown is all about celebrating what makes our state special — hardworking entrepreneurs, quality local products and a strong community that supports each other. This event really brought that to life,” Beckwith said.
The curated event connected local businesses with distributors, food service professionals, retailers and chefs, helping them expand their wholesale and retail partnerships. Indiana businesses like Tulip Tree Creamery of Indianapolis noted the event’s success in fostering valuable connections.
“This was our second year at this event, and the number of attendees exceeded my expectations,” said Laura Davenport of Tulip Tree Creamery. “It was great to see new faces, old friends and local businesses that support us.”

Featured items included beef, bison, baked goods, seasonings, honey, craft spirits and more, all created by Indiana Grown members. The event also provided a platform for small businesses to connect with potential buyers.
“It’s always great to see the faces behind some of the best products in Indiana,” said Don Lamb, director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture.
