IndyGo and Indianapolis International Airport will no longer require masks.

The moves, announced April 19, came after a decision by the federal Transportation Security Administration to not enforce the COVID-19 mask mandate on planes and other public transportation. A federal judge struck down the requirement in a decision April 18.
IngyGo’s policy applies to buses and IndyGo properties. The airport’s policy applies to terminals. Many airlines have also dropped their mask mandates.
