The Indiana Mad Ants put on an offensive showcase on Feb. 3, defeating the Wisconsin Herd 130-110 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The victory improved the Mad Ants’ record to 10-5 in the regular season, with a well-balanced attack led by Quenton Jackson and Jahlil Okafor.

Jackson, the only two-way player active for the Mad Ants, wasted no time making an impact.

He opened the contest for Indiana with a quick layup and followed it up with a steal and two-handed slam within the first two minutes of regulation. His hot start established the tone for Indiana, who controlled the pace throughout the contest.

The Mad Ants led 33-24 at the end of the first frame, with Jackson leading the charge with 11 points. In the second quarter, the Mad Ants ballooned their lead further. De’Vion Harmon contributed a smooth layup, and Jackson continued his scoring spree with a jump shot from midrange.

By halftime, the Mad Ants held a commanding 67-53 lead. Kyle Mangas led all scorers at the break with 22 points.

Okafor opened the second half with a layup, finishing with a perfect 12-for-12 from the field. His presence in the paint proved instrumental in keeping Wisconsin on the outskirts. Meanwhile, Mathias, McGriff and Jackson kept the firepower rolling with well-distributed scoring efforts.

Indiana pushed its lead to 105-83 by the end of the third period, with Jackson notching 28 points.

In the final frame, he extended his season-high to 34 points, adding his eighth assist as he facilitated a layup for Ishmael Lane. The Mad Ants maintained their 20-point buffer late into the fourth quarter, allowing reserve players like Obadiah Noel and Keisei Tominaga to close out the game.

With his parents watching courtside, Tominaga capped the night with a three-pointer in the final minute to put an exclamation point on the Mad Ants’ dominant win.

Okafor finished with 30 points and 11 rebounds, while Mangas added 24 points and six assists. Stephan Hicks also made an impact, scoring a season-high 14 points in 17 minutes.

The team shot an impressive 57% from the field, highlighting their efficient offensive performance.

With the victory, Indiana continues its four-game homestand, returning to action Feb. 4, against Raptors 905, the Toronto Raptors’ affiliate.
