Pop culture fans from Indianapolis and beyond attended PopCon Indy 2025 at the Indiana Convention Center during the last weekend in June. Attendees enjoyed pop culture-themed activations, interacting with invited celebrity guests and plenty of cosplay.
Indianapolis Recorder intern August Stafford attended the convention.
“It’s such a good opportunity to see people’s creativity, and you get to meet so many new people,” Stafford said.
Stafford was most looking forward to seeing this year’s costume contest.
Stafford said attendees ready for PopCon Indy 2026 should expect to be overwhelmed because it’s such a large convention, but they would “absolutely” recommend attending.
“It’s such a fun experience to meet people with common interests,” Stafford said.
