The 18th Annual Indiana State Fair Job Fair will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 4, inside the Agriculture/Horticulture Building at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, located at 1202 E. 38th Street in Indianapolis.
The Indiana State Fair is now hiring hundreds of seasonal employees for a variety of positions.
“Every great Fair experience starts with great people,” said Mark Anderson, director of Human Resources at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center. “Our seasonal team helps create the energy, hospitality and memories that guests look forward to each summer. Whether you are searching for your first job, extra income or a fun way to stay engaged with the community, the Fair offers an opportunity to be part of something meaningful.”
Job seekers can apply and participate in on-site interviews for a wide range of seasonal positions. Job Fair attendees will receive priority consideration during the hiring process.
The Indiana State Fair is looking to fill approximately 800 seasonal positions, including:
- Parking attendants
- Gate staff
- Security personnel
- Operations team members
- Tractor shuttle operators
- Information booth assistants
- Education exhibit guides
Applicants attending the job fair are encouraged to bring a resume. Previous Fair experience is not required.
Those unable to attend the job fair may apply in person beginning June 8 at the Employment Office located inside the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion. Walk-in applications will be accepted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The 2026 Indiana State Fair takes place from August 7 to August 23 and is closed on Mondays.
