In this conversation you will meet Claudia White, founder of Youth Global Perspectives (YGP). YGP is a non-profit started by White, a sociologist and educator, to expose underprivileged youth to global experiential learning opportunities in places like Washington D.C., Spain and Cuba. White believes that “representation matters” and young people learn better when they see themselves represented in the lessons being taught.
YGP is one of over 100 nonprofits listed in our Get On Board 2020 Nonprofit Guide and they are currently seeking board members.
