The start of Ball State University freshman orientation for 2010 is already on our minds! During the orientation sessions more than 3,500 freshmen students and their parents will spend two days on campus as they prepare for college life. This will occur every weekday beginning June 7 and continuing through July 16.
The visitors bureau attends orientation each day greeting students and parents with a Muncie welcome bag which includes information about the Muncie community.
Also, for the past several years, the Muncie Visitors Bureau, in collaboration with Ball State Athletics, has received the support of local lodging and attractions to provide a prize package each morning of orientation to one lucky set of parents
of an incoming freshman. Our lodging partners have provided complimentary overnight stays. We are also collecting admission passes and gift certificates from area attractions and merchants to also be included.
We invite you to take part as we greet these students and their parents and welcome them to Ball State University and the Muncie community. It seems early but this allows you time to plan, prepare and print materials. The items need to
be submitted to the Muncie Visitors Bureau office no later than April 30, 2010.
Below are your participation opportunities. There is no cost to participate and you may take part in as much or little as you would like.
