38 Ind. schools waiving application fees this week

More by this author

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana high school seniors who apply for admission this week to 38 colleges and universities in the state won’t have to pay admission application fees.

The Indiana Commission of Higher Education says the fee waiver for Indiana residents is designed to encourage more high school seniors to apply for college.

The fee waivers are part of a new program called College GO! Week. State education offials say the statewide effort is designed to help Indiana students take practical steps to get to college and complete it.

The application fees vary. At Purdue University, which is one of the participating schools, the fee is $50.
