Human beatbox Doug E. Fresh is known for his impressive imitations of drum machines and effects. On Oct. 5 at 8 p.m., he will perform at The Tobias Theater inside the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields as part of the City as Canvas exhibit. TRIAL BY LAUGHTER 

Standup comedy competition Trial By Laughter is recorded live at Morty’s Comedy Joint and will be released on Comcast On-Demand later in the year. CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

DANCING THROUGH THE DECADES

Reach way, way back into your closet and dust off your forgotten formal wear for Peace Learning Center’s prom. WOOFSTOCK
