Al Smith has recently been named the new Cause Marketing Development Officer for Kiwanis International.
Smith will be responsible for researching and soliciting cause related marketing partners and developing and managing strategic cause related marketing strategies. Those strategies will form alliances between Kiwanis International and other for-profit and not-for-profit organizations or causes that align with Kiwanis International’s mission, vision and result in increasing non-dues revenue.
Smith was previously a marketing manager for Finish Line Corporation in Indianapolis.
He was also the owner of the Dynasty Group, a marketing solutions company and has worked in branding with The Kellogg Company in Battle Creek, Mich., Images USA in Atlanta as an account executive working with clients such as Roche Laboratories, Coca Cola North America and McDonald’s Corporation.
He has also worked for the UniverSoul Circus and Indiana Black Expo Inc. in marketing roles.
