What makes it special: Known as Indy’s “newest” A.M.E. Church, Robinson was named after Bishop Hubert N. Robinson, the presiding Bishop of the 4th District, who had a vision of an African Methodist Episcopal Church on the north side of Indianapolis. The church was established in August, 1983 with Dr. Charles Beadles as the first pastor.
Robinson prides itself on being a church where families unite, the neighborhood could be ministered to and a major impact is made on lives of the community. Special initiatives include the Social Awareness HIV/AIDS ministry, Nia Rejoice dance ministry and the Young Adult Network (YAN), among many others.
