Indianapolis, IN – To celebrate the extension of their service hours to include evening bar and dining room hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Chef Joseph’s at The Connoisseur Room, 115 E. Ohio St., announces a three-evening live entertainment event, “Music! Music! Music!” featuring several of Indianapolis’ finest vocalists and musicians.
Nationally recognized and vivacious songstress Brenda Williams will take The Connoisseur Room stage on Thursday, March 22. Williams’ award-winning performances at American Cabaret Theatre, the Indiana Repertory Theatre and Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre have helped garner her the national spotlight, opening for headliners such as Ray Charles, The Beach Boys and Meryl Streep. There is no cover charge for this event.
The dining room and bar open at 5 p.m. with music beginning at 7 p.m. Reservations are strongly suggested.
On Friday, March 23, Isis of Indiana, whose 2010 & 2011 seasons have already attracted hundreds of fans and broken new ground for collaborations between women musicians in the area, will bring their 2012 series to new heights. This third annual benefit event will feature Chef Joseph’s world fusion cuisine and an all-female performance by The Divine Divas of Cabaret, featuring vocalists Debra Mullins and Heather Ramsey with bassist Jennifer Kirk, pianist Monika Herzig, and violinist Carolyn Dutton.
Many styles of music will be featured throughout the evening – jazz, blues, soul, R&B, and much more. Proceeds from this $20 ticketed event will benefit the 2012 Girls Create Music Summer Camp hosted by Isis. Dinner reservations can be made from 5 p.m. through 7:30 p.m., with the live cabaret running from 8-10:30 p.m. Those who wish to come for dinner only should make a reservation to dine between 5-6:30 p.m.
“An Acoustic Evening with An Innocent Band & Friends” will round out Chef Josephʼs “Music! Music! Music!” event on Saturday, March 24. This popular Indianapolis band brings the Billy Joel experience to The Connoisseur Room stage in an “unplugged” format. Experience the boys at their freshest as they take you on a musical journey, featuring some of their favorite musicians! The bar and dining room will open at 5 p.m. The performance will run from 7-10 p.m.
