F&M Assembly LLC – a restaurant, meeting and special occasions venue – will have its grand opening celebration on Sept. 17 at noon.
F&M is located at 1164 W. 30th St., in the United Northwest Area (UNWA) district.
During the grand opening, complimentary sample portions of home-cooked, secret-recipe meals will be prepared for guests to enjoy.
Guests will also have an opportunity to tour the facility and learn what F&M Assembly has to offer.
F&M is owned by Franklin and Magnolia Hardy and their seven children.
“Our facility has a family-friendly atmosphere offering affordable home-cooked dinners,” said Franklin Hardy, chief executive officer and owner. “Our meals are prepared by our chefs, who happen to be a part of the family; my daughter, granddaughter, and my wife.”
The restaurant provides home-cooked dinners that include entree options such as fried chicken, ham, pork roast and dressing, pork chops and rib tips; sides include homemade mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and green beans; desserts are home-made cobbler, pies and cakes. The facility will also host special occasion events.
A variety of meeting packages with food service and audio visual projection capabilities are provided by F&M. “Our goal and vision is to provide a safe environment where people can gather, whether it be for personal or business purposes,” said Hardy.
The business was organized on June 24 and opened its doors in August with the restaurant open for dinner on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. and and meeting and food service available Monday through Saturday.
