INDIANAPOLIS, IN (April 28, 2010) Indiana’s acclaimed soprano, Angela
Brown, has performed on stages all over the globe. On June 7, 2010, she
returns home to the Arthur M. Glick JCC for an intimate interview and
discussion accented by the kind of stunning performances she has long
been lauded for in media headlines. Angela will appear at the JCC’s live
talk show, Mickey’s Corner, with host Mickey Maurer at the Arthur M.
Glick JCC, 6701 Hoover Road, in Indianapolis. The Emmy-Award winning
“Mickey’s Corner” will provide the audience with the opportunity to see
the opera star as they never have before, up close and personal.
Teachers, students, staff and the general public are invited to the JCC
for a special evening on June 7th.
Just as in past shows, Mickey will engage his guest in a fascinating
conversation and will entertain the audience with photographs and other
visuals throughout the course of the evening. Miss Brown will perform
throughout the evening as well. Her vast repertoire includes arias,
African-American spirituals and art songs that appeal to opera
aficionados as well as the general public.
Audience members will be invited to ask questions. There will be a
meet-and-greet at the end of the interview.
