Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre is making a splash this summer with “Disney’s The Little Mermaid.”

Onstage now through July 13, Beef & Boards presents the Broadway adaptation of “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” as the annual Featured Family show of its 2025 season. Directed by Elizabeth Payne, the show invites families with children ages 3-15 to “journey under the sea with Ariel and her friends” as she pursues an unlikely love and explores a world beyond her own, according to a press release.

“Disney’s The Little Mermaid” follows the young, adventurous mermaid Ariel as her fascination with life on land leads her to trade her voice for a chance to walk amongst the humans and win the heart of a dashing prince. However, the bargain she made has limitations and she must rely on the help of her friends to find her happily ever after.

Choreographed by Sally Scharbrough with musical direction by Jill Stewart, the stage adaptation features all the exciting moments and favorite songs from the movie, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.”

Returning to the Beef & Boards stage, Sarah Daniels reprises the role of Ariel, which she played in the 2019 production. Alongside Daniels, Michael Ray Fishers (Sebastian) and Chris Trombetta (Scruttle) are also returning to Beef & Boards for “Disney’s The Little Mermaid.” However, Josh Alvarez (Prince Eric), Chelsea Hooker (Ursula) and Joshua William Green (King Triton) will be making their Beef & Boards debut.

“Disney’s The Little Mermaid” is onstage at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, 301 Michigan Road, for 60 performances now through July 13. The show is rated G, and tickets are $57-$85 with $10 discounted tickets for children ages 3-15. Children under 3 years old are not permitted.
