Hoosiers looking for help in making important life and health care decisions will have an opportunity to attend a series of educational seminars that will help explain options and provide them with helpful tips and tools.
Indiana University Health Plans will team up with IU Health North Hospital and IU Health West Hospital to host “Pass It On,” a seminar series that will help attendees make important life and health care decisions by addressing questions like: What are my healthcare choices? How does this impact my life and health?
The seminars – one being held in Carmel on Sept. 19 and the other taking place in Avon on Sept. 27 – will feature experts that will offer information and resources on subjects of interest and importance, including advance directives, hospice and home care and healthcare reform. The seminars are for educational purposes only and will not share plan-specific benefits or details. Each seminar will feature a series of three 45-minute presentations on the following topics:
⢠Exploring care choices.
⢠Tips and tools to help manage your drugs and Medicare drug costs.
⢠Health reform and you.
The seminars will take place at the following locations:
⢠Sept. 19 – 9 a.m. to noon, IU Health North HospitalāØ11700 N. Meridian St., Carmel (Learning Center A & B).
⢠Sept. 27 – 9 a.m. to noon, IU Health West HospitalāØ1111 N. Ronald Reagan Pkwy., Avon (Garden Classroom)
