Southern hip-hop royalty converges in downtown Indianapolis this fall for a highly anticipated musical event. BMN Entertainment announced the first-ever joint concert tour pairing Cash Money Records and No Limit Records on June 15. The historic 17-city tour stops at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Sept. 26.
The performance marks the first time the two foundational Louisiana music empires will share a single stage. Both independent record labels were launched in New Orleans, helping transform Southern rap into a dominant global powerhouse. The massive business conglomerates reshaped the modern music industry by prioritizing complete creative ownership and financial independence.
During their respective commercial peaks, both labels achieved multi-platinum sales. Master P’s No Limit movement sold over 75 million records worldwide, anchored by massive anthems like “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” and Mystikal’s “Here I Go.”
Meanwhile, Birdman’s Cash Money Records generated over 130 million album sales, fueled by Juvenile’s multi-platinum classic “Back That Azz Up,” Lil’ Wayne’s “Tha Block is Hot” and B.G.’s “Bling Bling.”
The lineup features hip-hop icons Birdman, Master P, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh and B.G. Fellow trailblazers Silkk the Shocker, Mia X, Mac, Mercedes, Fiend, Choppa Style and Mr. Serv-On will also perform.
Atlanta rap duo Ying Yang Twinz will join the traveling bill as high-profile special guests. Composed of members Kaine and D-Roc, the pair operated as fundamental pioneers within the early 2000s Atlanta rap ecosystem. They helped pioneer the enthusiastic, heavy-bass southern “crunk” sound that fundamentally reshaped party rap across the country. The group’s club-oriented classics like “Salt Shaker,” “Wait (The Whisper Song)” and their iconic feature on Lil Jon’s “Get Low” established them as definitive chart-toppers.
“The fans have been waiting for a tour like this for a long time,” No Limit Records founder Master P said. “We came from New Orleans and built something the world had never seen before — movements that changed music, hip hop culture, and the business forever.”
The tour is scheduled to officially kick off in Houston, Texas, before traveling to major cities across the country. Ticket sales opened on June 19 to align with citywide Juneteenth holiday celebrations.
