Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre’s 2027 season is bringing three new shows to the stage — including an epic romance, a Disney phenomenon and a true story about an iconic singer.
Beef & Boards’ 2027 season kicks off on Jan. 7, bringing eight shows to the stage, including three new ones, such as “The Bunco Squad,” “Disney’s Frozen” and “On Your Feet.” VIP memberships for the 2027 season are available beginning Sept. 1, while regular tickets to each of the shows go on sale to the public beginning Oct. 1, according to a press release.
Hoosier-based comedy “The Bunco Squad” makes its Beef & Boards debut as the season opener. Following the season opener comes the popular musical “Grease,” which runs Feb. 11 through April 4. The Tony-nominated musical invites audiences to “relive the era of hot rods, diners, drive-ins and bobby sox at Rydell High School in 1959,” as greaser Danny and new girl Sandy try to rekindle their secret summer romance, according to a press release. The show is rated PG and features hit songs “Greased Lightinin’,” “You’re The One That I Want” and “Summer Nights.”

On stage April 8-May 16, Beef & Boards presents “South Pacific,” which centers two parallel love stories tested by the dangers of prejudice and World War II. Set in an island paradise, Rogers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” follows Nellie, a spunky nurse from Arkansas who is conflicted about her love for French plantation owner Emile after discovering his mixed-race children. At the same time, Lieutenant Joe falls for Tonkinese girl Liat, but battles his own insecurities.

Next comes “Disney’s Frozen,” which has taken the world by storm with its captivating characters, magic and message of sisterhood, according to a press release. Running May 21-July 18, “Disney’s Frozen” is adapted from the Academy Award-winning animated film of the same name, following Princess Anna as she races after her sister Queen Elsa to find a way to break the spell that’s plunged the kingdom of Arendelle into a perpetual winter.

The musical features more than two dozen songs — including “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Walking After Midnight.” The show is rated PG and runs through Aug. 22.
Up next, Beef & Boards presents “On Your Feet,” a musical celebrating the inspiring true story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan.
