Indiana University athletic director Fred Glass announced Monday that Felisha Legette-Jack has been fired following six seasons as the IU women’s head basketball coach. A search for her successor is already underway. Leggette-Jack had just received a two-year extension last season.

ā€œAfter a deliberate and thorough review of all aspects of the women’s basketball program, including meeting with Felisha and interviews with all current players, I have concluded that under the current circumstances Felisha is no longer in a position to turn the program around,ā€ Glass said. ā€œDelaying the inevitable isn’t fair to her, the program and its fans, and most importantly the student-athletes on this team.”

Leggette-Jack had a record of 87-100 at Indiana. The season, the Hoosiers were 6-24 including 1-15 in the Big Ten.
