My Unique Furniture redesigns, creates, and repurposes furniture to make old things new again. We design accent chairs, ottomans, benches and tables for people who desire furniture that is one of a kind. We are a local enterprise in Indy. I run the business from my home and online.
Who’s your target audience?
Our target audience is that person who wants furniture designs that are unique only to them and won’t be found anywhere else. Many people want to make their home special, yet they find furniture in chain stores that their neighbor, friend, or family members may have. My Unique Furniture is ideal for that new home owner or a first apartment – people who have the desire to have furniture designs that make their home unique at an affordable price.
Significant Business Advances/Achievements:
We have expanded our designs to create custom headboards. Floating headboards are one of the hottest trends in furniture today and we are able to create them custom made to be the centerpiece of your bedroom. We are also very proud to be a vendor with Indie Arts and Vintage Marketplace.
Future Goals:
We would like to build relationships with interior decorators in the future and become a supplier for their clients. Working with interior designers would be a win win for the designer, their clients, and for My Unique Furniture. We want to continue to expand our online presence and have more of our designs in more homes. We are in the early stages of planning our furniture designs open house which will be this fall. Finally, our hope is to build an affiliate program with apartment complexes to offer furniture designs at a discounted price for their tenants.
