New online service connects homeschoolers and teachers

More by this author

SipeSociety.com, a new online subscription service for the homeschooled community, will begin offering services next week. The service provides a combination of academic and socialization support for clients in a virtual setting.

The program was developed by former eighth grade social studies teacher, Jason Sipe, who most recently taught at an Indiana virtual charter school. According to Mr. Sipe, “Technology provides great opportunities to build community and culture as well as educate. We offer resources like 1 on 1 academic assistance and student produced daily announcements, as well as online recess and clubs in a real time, online classroom setting.” The service will offer over 30 hours of interactive programming a week to subscribers through the Adobe Connect platform.

SipeSociety.com is offering a free two week trial to new applicants. Interested families should complete the application at sipesociety.com. Applicants are advised that space is limited.
