The annual Wishing on Stars Celebrity Serve is back for its seventh edition and by all accounts will be an all-star evening that will once again benefit the United Way of Central Indiana. Hosted by Colts star wide receiver Reggie Wayne, the event takes place Nov. 15 at Mo’s…A Place for Steaks, 47 S. Pennsylvania St.
The gathering will feature a number of local professional athletes as well as other celebrities serving the first class Mo’s fare and drinks to those in attendance along with both a live and silent auctions. Leave it to promoter Amp Harris and his colleagues to produce what promises to be another evening of fundraising and enjoyment.
“It is our seventh run and we are hoping to take it to another level this year with the support of the Indianapolis community,” said Harris recently. “We can help so many by coming together on this special evening.”
Many of Wayne’s teammates are scheduled to appear along with members of the Indiana Pacers, and, as always, with Amp Harris. Those who attend can expect a few special surprise guests as well.
