The Broadway National Tour of “HAIRSPRAY” is playing at Murat Theatre Feb. 21-26. The story follows 16-year-old Tracy Turnblad (Niki Metcalf) as she strives to earn a spot on TV’s most popular show. Through lively musical numbers and powerful words, the show touches on many difficult subjects such as body image, racism and segregation.

Indianapolis-based author MB Dabney will host a book signing and meet & greet for his latest book, “An Untidy Affair: A David Blaise Mystery.” Dabney will make an announcement regarding his upcoming novel, A Deadly Game — set to be published this spring — and read short sections from the novel.

The 11th Annual Daddy Daughter Sneakerball is a daddy-daughter date night with food, dancing, professional photos, prizes and more. This year’s dance is a carnival style event with a theme of “My Daddy is the GREATEST SHOWMAN.”
American Pianists Awards Premiere Series | Isaiah J. Thompson
The Jazz Kitchen, 5377 N. College Ave.

Tickets are $20
Jazz pianist and composer Isaiah Thompson will perform a solo and trio set in preparation of the American Pianist Awards finals in April. The performance is also available to livestream on the website.
