Riley Children’s Health is accepting applications for its 2026 Community Youth Grants, a funding opportunity that will provide awards ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 for organizations working to improve the health and well-being of children in Marion County.
Applications are open through Aug. 16, with funding available for nonprofit organizations, government programs and community groups working under a fiscal sponsor that serve youth younger than 18.
This year’s grant cycle prioritizes programs focused on injury prevention, youth health and wellness and childhood immunizations, according to Riley Children’s Health. The initiative is administered through the health system’s Office of Community & Child Health, which partners with local organizations to address health needs beyond the hospital setting.
Riley Children’s Health is especially encouraging applications from grassroots organizations, groups with annual operating budgets of less than $1 million and organizations rooted in under-resourced communities. Only one application per organization will be considered.
Eligible applicants must be actively serving children and adolescents in Marion County and may include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, government agencies or organizations applying through a qualified fiscal sponsor.
Organizations interested in applying can attend a free technical assistance information session on July 24, where staff will answer questions about eligibility, the application process and funding priorities.
Grant recipients are expected to be announced in September 2026.
