Guiding Scripture: “He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:38
What makes it special: Rev. Charles E. Bridgewater Sr., founding pastor, is a servant leader who is spirit-annointed to preach and teach the truth. A former trustee and youth leader, he accepted his calling into the ministry in 2004 and later studied at Crossroads Bible College. Pastor Bridgewater is faithful to the vision for Living Water, a word-centered ministry founded in 2008. Our shepherd stresses that “being missionaries is what God has appointed us to do in the vineyard. I do not take this commandment lightly.”
First lady Pamela Bridgewater glorifies the Word of God through music, praise and worship. She shares that these spiritual gifts are “blessings – it’s not about me – but it is about Jesus Christ who lives in me.”
On the first Sunday of 2011, we were blessed to open the doors of our beautiful new sanctuary in Lawrence Township. So much more than bricks and mortar, Living Water is a “Church on a Mission.” As disciples for Christ, we are committed to baptism, feeding the hungry, prison ministry, and assisting the elderly. We are a close-knit, loving congregation of believers and passionate about reaching out in love to uplift the name of Jesus Christ. Prayerfully we share our testimonies in the community that the Word of God is a changing agent!
