BRUNCH IN THE CITY

Who Woulda Thought LLC, a local organization that hosts events geared toward young professionals, is hosting Brunch IN the City, a brunch like no other taking place in downtown Indianapolis. The afternoon will entail great music, food catered by Maxine’s Chicken & Waffles and mimosas. The purpose of this brunch is to empower Black businesses and provide an opportunity for millennials to network. The event takes place on Saturday, April 1, at 120 E. LOVE AND HATE: A CRITICAL CONVERSATION

DON’T SLEEP would like to invite the community to Love and Hate, a critical conversation on gender relationships and the Black community. Love and Hate aims to discuss the issues that prevent Black men and Black women from supporting one another. JAZZ JAM SESSION

PURPLE VEINS: PRINCE TRIBUTE 

The Veins aim to re-create the magical power and energy of a classic Prince show circa 1985: an all-out dance party with relentless funk, all the hits, tasty lesser-known classics, theatrical elements and dance choreography woven into it. KINGMAKERS OPENS ON MASS AVE.

Want something new to do with friends? Kingmakers, a game library that opened last month at 881 Massachusetts Ave., lets Hoosiers play unlimited board games for a $5 fee. APRIL AROUND TOWN AT PUNCH BOWL SOCIAL

Join Circle City Connect and the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana Young Professionals Board on April 4 from 5:30–8 p.m. for their first partnered Around Town at Punch Bowl Social Indianapolis.
