Earth Fare organic grocery opens new location in Greenwood

The City of Greenwood welcomed the organic and natural foods grocer, Earth Fare this week at a ribbon cutting ceremony. Earth Fare’s first Southside location is at 2110 E. County Line Road near the Greenwood Park Mall.

“We’ve worked with vendors to lower prices for our customers’ favorite items,” said Jessica Sharp, community relations manager for the Noblesville Earth Fare.

Customers are able to scoop their own flour, grains, nuts and candies for accurate measurement as well as grind their own peanut butter.

“Our bulk candy looks like M&Ms but the colors come from fruit juice,” she says. “They taste just like traditional chocolate but there are no dyes.”

Earth Fare customers can also expect a wide variety of local, natural and organic foods and lifestyle items to accommodate their healthy lifestyle. The business says it holds a strict set of rules that help make the company a step above traditional stores. They prohibit products with high-fructose corn syrup, artificial fats, trans-fats, bleached or bromated flour as well as artificial preservatives, sweeteners, flavors and colors. Its meat and dairy also hold a high standard, as they do not allow any antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones.

“There is no need to look at labels unless a customer wants to look at calories or sugar count,” adds Sharp.

The new location will provide the same full-sized supermarket and amenities as the other locations in Carmel and Noblesville. Customers can also enjoy the salad bar, on-site bakery, cosmetic items, organic pet treats and ready-to-go meal options.

Store hours are Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
