Wishard-Eskenazi Health hosts Health Fair at Forest Manor. Eskenazi Health 
Center Forest Manor Health Fair offers fun for the entire family.
 
A new name calls for a celebration, and this year the organizers of the EskenziHealth Center Forest Manor Health Fair hope it also means good health for 
the entire community. Fair goers will enjoy fun activities while partaking in dozens of free health screenings and immunizations and visiting information booths at the summer event.
 
On Saturday, July 13, Wishard-Eskenazi Health will present the Eskenazi
Health Center Forest Manor Health Fair at Eskenazi Health Center Forest
Manor, 3840 N. Sherman Dr., in Indianapolis. The free health fair will run
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to the entire community. A team of health
care professionals will be on hand to answer questions and administer free
health screenings in a fun and family-friendly atmosphere.
 
"This event provides a great opportunity to showcase our site and also
introduce people to our new name as Wishard transitions to Eskenazi Health,"
said Dr. Broderick Rhyant, a physician at Eskenazi Health Center Forest
Manor. "By providing free health screenings and helpful advice from medical
experts, the eastside community will have a chance to learn healthy living
tips in a fun and friendly environment."
 
Health checks provided during the fair will include blood pressure, glucose,
cholesterol, BMI, depression, dental, vision, asthma, hearing and more. In
addition, free immunizations will be provided for both adults and children
who bring a copy of their shot records. Participants will also have the
chance to visit a wide variety of informational booths on topics such as
nutrition, health insurance, community resources, WIC and more.
 
In addition to the numerous health screenings and informational booths,
there will also be fun activities available for the entire family. Door
prizes and giveaways will be announced throughout the event.
 
Eskenazi Health Center Forest Manor, which is located at the northwest
corner of Sherman Drive and 38th Street, provides a medical home for
families in the areas of internal and family medicine, pediatrics,
adolescent care, dental care, mental health and social services. The center
is one of 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.
 
This year, Wishard-Eskenazi Health is teaming up with the community to host
nine health fairs throughout Indianapolis. The events will offer
comprehensive health screenings and information on a variety of topics. For
