Center For Black Literature & Culture Grand Opening
The Indianapolis Public Library’s Center for Black Literature & Culture (CBLC) grand opening event will be Saturday, Oct. 21, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Central Library (40 E. St. Clair St.) Special guest Roland S. Martin, journalist and political commentator, will give the keynote presentation at 12:30 p.m., with a Q&A session and a book signing to follow. This event is free and open to the public.
Wine after Work

Families can hike along candlelit trails and interact with magical speaking forest creatures, then return to the nature center for a campfire, refreshments and activities. The Exchange with Paul Brunson

The Exchange at the Indianapolis Urban League invites the public to hear Oprah’s renowned relationship guru Paul Brunson’s perspective on “How to Discover What You’re World-Class at Doing Through Career Pivots.” This free event takes place on Monday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. at the Urban League, 777 Indiana Ave.
