The Grammy-nominated musical duo Black Violin announced their Full Circle Tour with a stop in Carmel, Indiana.

Comprised of Wil Baptiste and Kev Marcus, Black Violin features the pair of classically trained musicians in a combination of hip hop and classical music. The Full Circle Tour kicks off on Feb. 26, 2025, at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, before spanning the U.S. with performances in cities such as Atlanta, Dallas, St. Louis, and Des Moines as well as a stop at The Palladium in Carmel on March 26, 2025.

Black Violin, which got their start covering hip hop songs on their violins, quickly gained popularity in clubs before being invited to perform on and eventually win “Showtime at the Apollo.” The duo haves performed and worked with the likes of Alicia Keys, Alessia Cara, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne as well as  toured with Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park and opened for the Wu-Tang Clan.

Beyond the stage, Baptiste and Marcus strive to give back to local communities across the country through free performances for students and hands-on engagement with youth symphonies, community centers and low-income and Title I schools. In 2019, Baptiste and Marcus launched their nonprofit organization — Black Violin Foundation — to empower youth through access to quality music programs and encouraging creativity and innovation. The duo also adopted and kickstarted a mentorship program with Bethune Elementary — a school near their hometown.

Tickets for Black Violin’s show at the Palladium start at $25 and are now on sale. For more information, visit thecenterpresents.org/tickets-events/events/2425/center-presents/black-violin.
