Indiana Fever point guard Caitlin Clark is TIME Magazine’s 2024 Athlete of the Year, the outlet reported Dec. 10.
Known for her electrifying performances, Clark became a transformative figure in women’s sports, drawing comparisons to some of the greatest athletes in history early in her career.

Clark, who joined the Fever after an outstanding collegiate career at the University of Iowa, shattered records and brought new energy and fans to the WNBA. Her debut in the 2024 WNBA season saw her lead the league in assists and three-pointers made per game, while her leadership helped the Fever secure their first playoff berth in nearly a decade.
Beyond her athletic prowess, Clark is a vocal advocate, inspiring young athletes to dream big.
