It’s time again to celebrate Veterans Day, the annual federal holiday dedicated to all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
This year, the holiday, always observed Nov. 11, falls on a Tuesday.
Other nations will celebrate Armistice Day and Remembrance Day on the same day, as all mark the end of World War I.
Although it can be confused with Memorial Day, Veterans Day enjoins us to honor the service of all American vets, while Memorial Day specifically remembers those who died in the service of the nation.
