CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – Dot Transportation Inc. (DTI) will conduct a three-day job fair in Indianapolis from Friday, May 4 through Sunday, May 6 with hopes to fill approximately 50 regional truck driver positions. The job fair will be held from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. each day and will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Airport in Indianapolis, 2501 South High School Road.

Dot Transportation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dot Foods, which operates eight distribution centers nationwide, including one in Cambridge City. Dot Transportation is looking to hire drivers in the Indianapolis area to deliver products to Dot customers and pick up products at suppliers. The drivers will work in a regional capacity, delivering to locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee and West Virginia. On average, DTI drivers are typically dispatched for two to four days per trip and are home two days per week. All Indianapolis based drivers will start and end their weekly dispatch in Indianapolis.

“Dot Foods has been in business now for over 50 years and is still growing. Because of this growth, we are expanding our recruitment efforts and looking in other areas around Indiana for the best drivers,” said Tim Loyd, general manager of Dot’s Cambridge City distribution center. “We’re holding the job fair on three separate days so that people interested in learning about the position and our company will have more opportunities to do so.”

All full-time positions at Dot Transportation include excellent employee benefits such as health, vision, life, disability and dental insurance, 401k, profit sharing, and paid vacation. Anyone unable to attend the career fair is encouraged to visit Dot’s website for more information about job opportunities at http://www.dotfoods.com/careers/.
