Scott Miller has been selected as the new president of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.
John Neighbours, chairman of the board, said the decision to hire Miller was made at Thursday’s Indy Chamber board meeting.
Miller currently serves as president and CEO of Develop Indy, the economic development organization for Indianapolis/Marion County, where his team completed more than 195 economic development projects, accounting for 47,000 new and retained job commitments and $1.9 billion in capital investment from 2008 through 2011 year-to-date.
