The Indiana Fever has added two young centers to its training camp roster with the signing of Aisha Mohammed and Abi Olajuwon.
Mohammed, a six-foot-three center out of Virginia, was an undrafted free agent in Minnesota’s training camp in 2009. Mohammed earned ACC All-Conference Honorable Mention honors in 2008 and 2009 while averaging 12.9 points and 9.7 rebounds per game as a Cavalier.
Olajuwon, a 6-4 center out of Oklahoma, appeared in six regular season games in 2010 as a rookie with the Chicago Sky. She helped lead the Sooners to the NCAA Final Four twice. As a senior, she averaged 10.6 points and 7.3 rebounds, shooting better than 50 percent from the field.
