Shady Creek Winery, a family-owned craft winery, announced today that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade, which honors hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Establishments awarded the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website.
“This is our second year in a row that we have been awarded this outstanding excellence award from TripAdvisor. We have worked very hard to establish an excellent customer experience by creating our award winning wines and our relentless focus on our customers’ experience at the winery. This is validation of our efforts,” said Tim Anderson, owner of the winery.

When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm that takes into account reviews ratings to determine the honorees. Businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five; volume and recency of reviews are also taken into account. Additional criteria include a business’ tenure and popularity ranking on the site.
