Super Shootout, Inc. will host its annual SSI College Workout Saturday, April 21st. Conducted by Eric Gordon, Sr. and the E3 Basketball Academy, this year’s workouts will be open to junior players for the first time in Super Shootout history. FREE to all male and female Marion County high school junior and senior basketball players, the SSI College Workout will be held at North Central High School from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The annual SSI College Workout gives student-athletes the opportunity to workout along side the Eric Gordon Super Shootout All-Stars while being viewed by a host of collegiate recruiters and scouts from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and junior colleges programs. 2012 will be the first time SSI opens the workouts to junior players, giving them greater opportunity next year during the college recruitment period.
Interested student-athletes may visit www.supershootout.org to pre-register for the workout. Registration will also take place onsite Saturday, April 21 from 8:00 am – 8:30 am at North Central High School.
“From its very beginning, Super Shootout, Inc. has held as its primary goal to provide
student-athletes the opportunity to take their game to the next level in pursuit of a college education. We’ve had over 600 players participate in the annual college workouts, and have had over 100 athletic scholarships awarded because of this opportunity to be seen by collegiate recruiters and scouts” said Chris Reeder, Super Shootout, Inc.
