MedCheck East, located at 7910 East Washington Street, is now open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week, expanding access to services both earlier in the morning and later in the evening.
“Our new hours make it easier for our east side neighbors to see a provider when it is most convenient for their schedule,” said Richard Hon, MD, medical director at MedCheck. “We are pleased to offer an array of walk-in and scheduled services for treatment of illnesses and injuries.”
Located at Community Health Pavilion Washington, MedCheck East is staffed by family medicine physicians who are trained in adult and pediatric care as well as advanced practice providers. Lab, x-ray and minor surgical capabilities are available on site. Additional services include:

· Broken bone diagnosis and care
· Cold and flu care
· Eye injury care
· Free blood pressure readings
· Immunizations
· School/sports physicals
· Sore throat/strep throat diagnosis and treatment
· Repair and treatment of cuts, scrapes and burns
· STD checks
· Treatment of sprains and strains
· Work-related injury treatment and screening
