The Fourth of July is not until Tuesday, but the weekend of festivities is kicking off early. The Recorder put together a list of (almost) all the festivals, fireworks and celebrations we could find going on around the city over the long weekend.
Saturday, July 1
The Big Bang

Featuring live music, food, complimentary Cîroc tastings and fireworks, kick off the holiday weekend with the official Cîroc The Summer Holiday Party.
Fourth of July Celebration
Metazoa Brewing Company, 140 S. College Ave.
11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Recurring through July 4)
Free
Kick off the weekend with Metazoa Brewing Co. as they launch several new craft beers. With food, live music and more, the four-day celebration will include patios, a dog park and taproom for guests to enjoy the holiday.

Glorious Fourth

Tickets are $18-$24
Featuring a traditional celebration honoring veterans, reading of the Declaration of Independence and singing, families are invited to enjoy an array of speeches, live music, reenactments and more.
Sunday, July 2
Red, White and Blueberry Festival
Mallow Run Winery, 6964 W. Whiteland Road
Noon to 6 p.m. (Recurring through July 3)
$10 per car
Celebrate the annual release of Mallow Run’s blueberry wine and cider alongside live music from Sounds of Summer and Indy Annies, food trucks, fireworks and more.
Star-Spangled Symphony

Tickets range from $10-$90
Kroger Symphony on the Prairie presents its annual July 4th concert with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Featuring patriotic music, special guest artists and a fireworks finale.
Monday, July 3
All American Day in the Park
Sarah T. Bolton Park, 1300 Churchman Ave., Beech Grove

Presented by the Beech Grove Promoters Club, the annual holiday celebration will include food, live music, activities and a kid’s zone followed by a fireworks show at 10 p.m.
Carmel Fest
Downtown Carmel
1-10 p.m. (Recurring through July 4)
Free
Carmel’s annual summer festival celebrating the 4th of July will feature activities for kids and adults of all ages over two days, including live music, a talent show, beer and wine garden, food and drink vendors, and more.
Tuesday, July 4
4th of July Celebration
Kurt Vonnegut Museum & Library, 543 Indiana Ave.

Tickets are $50-$60
Celebrate Independence Day with the Vonnegut Museum and Library, including activities such as WordPlay by David Hoppe, trivia with Lou Harry and music from the Buselli-Wallarab Jazz Trio, followed by the Downtown Indianapolis fireworks display.
Downtown Indianapolis 4th of July Fireworks
Downtown Indianapolis
10 p.m.
Round out the holiday weekend with Downtown Indy’s annual fireworks display at the Indiana War Memorial grounds and American Legion Mall. The show launches from the 500 North Meridian building and will be synced to music aired on local Emmis Communications radio stations B105.7, 97.1 Hank FM and 93.1 FM WIBC.
Independence Day Celebration
Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, 450 W. Ohio St.
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Indiana Historical Society’s annual Independence Day Celebration includes something for the whole family — with patriotic themed crafts, activities and games, storytelling, and more. Admission to the history center will also be free during the day.
July 4th Celebration
Victory Field, 501 W. Maryland St.

Tickets are $14-$20
Fourth of July at Victory Field means celebrating the old-fashioned way – with hot dogs and America’s favorite pastime. Join the Minor League Baseball team for a game against the Memphis Redbirds followed by the Downtown Indy fireworks show.
Tea’s Me 4th of July Celebration
Tea’s Me Cafe, 140 E. 22nd St. B & Tarkington Park
11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Free
Come out and spend the 4th of July at Tea’s Me Cafe with games and activities, food and drinks, and raffle prizes. Festivities begin at the 22nd street location from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and conclude at the Tarkington Park location from 2:30-4 p.m.
