The GP Girl Power Conference will return Saturday, Nov. 8, for its 11th annual celebration, bringing together hundreds of girls ages 10-17 for a day of empowerment, education and sisterhood.
The conference, presented by Inner Beauty Program, Inc., will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include breakout discussions, a “Glow Party” lunch hour and networking with women leaders. Volunteers and mentors from across Marion County will serve as guides and role models throughout the day.
“Our mission is to remind every girl that she is powerful, purposeful, and capable of shaping her own story,” said Chrystal Hines, founder and CEO of Inner Beauty Program, Inc., a lead partner in this year’s event. “For 11 years, the GP Girl Power Conference has united women and girls across our community to celebrate growth, resilience, and leadership.”
Hosted in partnership with local youth organizations and community leaders, the event will feature workshops, motivational speakers and creative sessions focused on confidence, social media awareness, STEM, entrepreneurship, mental wellness and civic engagement.
The GP Girl Power Conference was established to “empower young women with the knowledge, confidence, and community support they need to lead successful lives,” according to a statement released by Inner Beauty Program, Inc.
