Hoosier pizza lovers are in for a treat this summer, as the Indianapolis Pizza Festival is preparing to debut at Monument Circle.

The first of its kind, the Indianapolis Pizza Festival aims to bring the top pizzerias across the state together on Aug. 9 for a full day of unlimited tastings, live entertainment and a competition to declare the best Indiana pizza.

“This event is about celebrating the best pizza spots in Indiana while creating a fun, engaging experience for food lovers,” Tommy Barrett, Indianapolis-based social media influencer and organizer of the festival, said in a statement. “It’s more than just a food event — it’s a way to bring the community together and showcase the incredible local pizza scene.”

During the festival, guests can experience unlimited pizza samples from pizzerias across Indiana, live music, games and entertainment; a VIP experience with exclusive tastings and meet-and-greets — all leading up to the “best Pizza in Indy” competition where guests can vote for their favorite.

Tickets for the Indianapolis Pizza Festival go on sale at noon on March 12. General admission is $30 while VIP is $75. Children 12 years old and under are $15, and children under 2 are free.
